On the latest episode of the Bless Your ‘Hardt, the NSCAR power couple talked about the legend and how he surprised them during a Daytona 500 weekend, when the two times champion was racing in the iconic No:18 M&M car. He gave them a surprise visit to their motorhome, while they were in a bad mood and it changed a lot of things for them.
It was Daytona 500 week, and I don’t know what year this was. He was running the M&M’s car. We’re in the bus, and we get a knock on the door, and there’s a little window above the door, and so he’s sitting on the couch and I’m messing around, and so I look out and I’m like, it’s Kyle Busch.
Amy Earnhardt said on Bless Your ‘Hardt podcast.

The Earnhardt’s were not expecting any visits, especially from Kyle Bsuch, who back then wasn’t known for the “good visits.” Amy Earnhardt refused to open the door and asked her husband Dale Earnhardt Jr. to do it. The then Hendrick Motorsports driver obliged.
I’m like, Dale, it’s Kyle Busch and he goes, no ****. I was like, yeah, it’s Kyle. I’m like, I’m not answering it. You better get over here. So, he comes up off the couch and peeks out the door and he just kind of like props it open a little bit and was like, hey man, what’s up?
Amy Earnhardt added.
To their surprise, the veteran came to surprise with Valentine’s Day gifts. He had a bag full off M&M’s with him and it caught the couple off guard, as back then Busch was the last person in the garage that they expected to surprise them like that.
And I could hear him audibly say very loudly, “Happy Valentine’s Day.” And he’s got bags of M&M’s to share. And both of us were kind of like, “Really? You brought candy?” There’s pink. There’s red. There’s all kinds of flavors here. He gave him like four or five bags of candy.
Amy Earnhardt admitted.
Dale Eranhardt Jr. and Amy Eranhardt started seeing Kyle Busch in a different light afterwards
Further talking about the moment, Mrs. Earnhardt highlighted how it was the most cheerful version of Kyle Busch he has ever seen and that changed the whole dynamic of relationship with them. These moments helped them to start the conversation that settled their longstanding beef forever.

He was smiling. He was happy. It was like a version of Kyle I had never seen before either. It was really nice to see Kyle in that moment and from then on. I feel like both of us kind of looked at him in a different way. I feel like I’ll always think of him too now when I look at a bag of M &Ms.
Amy Earnhardt asserted.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. on his statement on Busch’s death had highlighted how he feels lucky to have settled their beef and have a good relationship before it was too late. It would be interesting to see how the Earnhardt’s will continue to supporting Busch’s and honoring the legacy of the great racer.
