The 2025 NASCAR Cup season has been witnessing history, with Joe Gibbs Racing’s Christopher Bell winning three races in row. With luck and superior racing skills on his side, the No:20 Toyota driver got the better of his rivals at Atlanta Motor Speedway, The Circuit of the Americas and the Phoenix Raceway last Sunday.
Now Christopher Bell’s Hendrick Motorsports rival and arch-rival from the dirt racing scene, Kyle Larson has shared his feelings about the streak. Being someone who has experienced a similar run, albeit one of the wins was an All-Star event, the No:5 Chevy team has a lot of respect for the JGR team and their accomplishment so far this year.
I've been asking driver's thoughts on @CBellRacing going for 4th win in a row this weekend.@RyanPreece_ told me he texted Bell after his 3rd that he should put his phone on auto text every Mon. congratulating him! 🙂

I mean, I got a great season in 2021 and was able to win three points-paying races in a row twice that year, four in a row once, you know with the All-Star Race in there… so having lived through it on my own I can respect it a lot more.
Kyle Larson said at Las Vegas Speedway.
He then went onto claim that the streak and the success his rival having, beating him and his teammates, doesn’t bother him. Larson also admitted that if the No:20 Toyota get to the victory lane this Sunday at Las Vegas, things will start to get annoying.
It doesn’t bother me; you know, I see somebody else having success like that… If he wins this weekend, maybe it’s like, alright, it’s getting annoying.
Kyle Larson added.
Kyle Larson is confident about the Martinsville weekend despite Phoenix disappointment
The last weekend at Phoenix wasn’t impressive for the Kyle Larson, as well as his team. So going into the upcoming weekends, he has some expectations on his shoulders, especially at Martinsville where there will be similar condition as well as the open tier. But regardless of this disappointment, he is looking forward to having a strong weekend there.

I feel like when we go to Martinsville, we have a package we can look back on and build our car off of, making us competitive. So, I don’t have as much concern going to Martinsville as I do about Phoenix right now. But Martinsville is Martinsville, and it’s still a tough track for me, even though it’s crazy to think that it’s probably our statistically best track on this circuit.

Thee comments from the veteran driver shows the comparatively poor start to the season hasn’t reduced his momentum and his hopes for the coming races. He is waiting for the one race that will help him to get the flair back and start dominating again.
Kyle Larson also broke silence on drivers’ approval controversy at Las Vegas
One of the major controversies from last weekend’s race was Katherine Legge poor debut race and how someone with such limited experience got the approval to race. Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick even demanded change to the approval process to fix the issue. Kyle Larson also shared his feelings about it.

I think in NASCAR, I don’t know what the approval process is, so I can’t really speak on what needs to change. But it is surprising sometimes when some drivers are not allowed to run, and then others are. So yeah, I don’t know. Maybe there just needs to be a better something in place.
Kyle Larson said.
The comments show, just like Busch, he sees some issues with how the approval process works wants some changes to system. It would be interesting to see if the sanctioning body will respond to these demands.
