Michael Jordan’s 23XI Racing set to donate $1 million to Hurricane Helene victims
NBA legend Michael Jordan has donated a huge sum to rebuild NC after the Hurricane, with 23XI on board.

The Category 4 Hurricane Helene has been wreaking havoc in the states of Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, and Tennessee. It has put millions of people’s lives and livelihoods at risk throughout Appalachia. It has been claimed that of 103 so far, the full extent of the devastation is yet to be known.
Out of the dead toll, 35 have been reported in North Carolina, the home of NASCAR. So, the stock car racing community is helping the process to survive the destruction. NC’s own Michael Jordan has joined forces with his racing team, to donate a hefty sum to the cause.
23XI Racing, the NASCAR team of MJ, in a statement has announced that they will be donating a combined $1 million to relief efforts. They are giving $500,000 each to the NC Disaster Relief Fund and Second Harvest of Metrolina.

The NBA legend is heartbroken like many seeing the natural disaster and it has motivated him to give back to the community and they are honored to do it. They are doing their small part in helping the people of the state to rebuild lives and hopes.
He went on to highlight the strength of the people of his home state and asserted that they will bounce back. Though the process of recovery will take time, they are hoping to get through the destruction together.
The actions from Michael Jordan and his team shows how much sport can help people even during destruction. It is something other NASCAR teams cantered in the state should take note of and they should join 23XI in the efforts to help the victims.
