Chase Briscoe, will be excited going into St. Luis for the Cup as with the P4 finish, which could have been converted into a win if he had pushed his car’s limit a little less, in Coco-Cola 600 last week at  Charlotte. The No:14 Stewart Hass Racing Ford Mustang driver was struggling to get into the top 10 after his victorious run in Phoenix Raceway earlier this season. Fans will be watching to see whether the top 5 finish will surely be a momentum-building start or just a fluke for Chase Briscoe.

Chase Briscoe acknowledged that he is really excited to race in Gateway as he finds it a fun place to race in. He pointed out that though he has only run one race at the track during his Xfinity series time and had the pole alongside most lap lead but failed to secure the win. He added that going into Gateway with more to learn about the Next-Gen car and going into a new track where he has proved himself in the past limited experience will be a really good experience.

I’m really excited. Gateway was a fun place to race at. I only ran one race there, but we started on the pole and led the most laps. I wish I could’ve left with a win, but it was a good day for us. We’re still figuring out this new Cup car and it definitely helps to go to a new track knowing that I’ve been there once without any experience, and we figured out how to do well,Chase Briscoe said.

Chase Briscoe went on to say that he expects a lot of shifting and not much passing on the track and claimed that the coming race will also be as exciting as how the past races have been. He added that he feels like the track positions will be vital as he expects passing to be hard on the track. He went on to say that he believes that the no:14 team is back to the best as they have been in the past.

A lot of shifting and probably not much passing. I think, in general, races this year have been a lot more exciting and I think that will continue, but I feel like it’s going to be really difficult to pass guys and track position will be really important,” says Chase Briscoe.

I think we got away from what we had been doing earlier in the year and we’re getting back to that. We had been able to run up front but just didn’t have what we needed to stay up there or close out the race up front.,” added Chase Briscoe.
