NASCAR hit the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday for the 14th round of Cup Racing which served as one of the most entertaining, wild, chaotic, and sometimes yawning cup races in the NASCAR Cup Schedule. The chaotic track saw racing longing for more than five hours due to the double-overtime called after 18 caution that came out throughout the race with the final caution and the incident behind it gifting Denny Hamlin, the race winner, the chance for a win.

Among the craziest crashes,  it was the wreck among Trackhouse Racing No:99 Chevy driver Daniel Suarez and No. 17 RFK Racing Mustang of Chris Buescher that was the most dangerous. On lap 346 of the race, Daniel Suarez spun his Chevy after his car got tight in the entry to turn two forcing Chris Buescher to go airborne and the car flipped in the air five times.

Chris Buescher landed upside down in the car and had to wait for the safety crew to come out and roll-flip his car to a normal position to get him out. Now Chris Buescher has come out expressing his thoughts on the crash and how it played out.

Chris Buescher acknowledged that landing upside down is not ideal by any means and it might be a sore the next day. He went on to say he hadn’t been upside down in a really long time. He added that his team did a really nice job as they had great speed and a chance at finishing high in the track, but it didn’t work out really well.

It’s not ideal by any means. I’m going to be a bit sore tomorrow. I haven’t been upside-down in a really long time. The team did a really nice job. We had great speed and had a chance at this thing, it just didn’t work out,Chris Buescher said.

He went on to say he really appreciate the safety crew helping him out and setting the car back again. Chris Buescher went on to say he thought of getting down by himself and removing his seatbelt but decided not to do so. He added that it was nice to get out of the car with blood flowing through the head.

I do appreciate them for helping me and setting it back over again, so thank you to everybody working for not slamming it back. It was nice to be able to get out. The blood is rushing to your head a little bit. I guess I could have pulled the belts and fallen right to the ground but figured I’d just wait on them,” Chris Buescher added.
