WATCH: “I am going to f**king kill you at Homestead,” Bloody brawl breaks out between Nick Sanchez and Matt Crafton after Talladega Truck race
Fortunately, both drivers didn’t suffer any serious injuries from the brawl.
Chaos and Talladega NASCAR races go hand in hand. The track is known for crashes and aggressive driving from the racers. When the adrenalin is high, it isn’t rare to see the fight on track getting out of hand and sometimes going beyond the track, resulting in an off-track brawl. The same happened on Saturday at Talladega, where Nick Sanchez and Matt Crafton fought.
The duo was filmed engaging in a fight where both were seen on the ground with bystanders forcefully separating both. Sanchez, who had a bloodied nose, was seen getting removed from the scene by veteran racer Cory Roper. He was able to get the youngster away from the scene and calm him down. Roper later said that he was just making sure nobody got hurt in the brawl.
While getting forcefully moved from the scene, Sanchez was seen venting at the veteran. He even threatened to wreck Crafton in the coming race at Homestead Miami. He said, “I am going to f**king kill you at Homestead…you f**ked with the wrong guy, motherf**ker.”
Matt Crafton, the three-time Truck Series champion, is in the Twilights of his career. The 15-time race winner has won a race in three and half years, and while Rev Racing, Nick Sanchez is chasing his maiden win. Talladega was one of their best shots at winning a race, and the disappointing end might have incited the fight.

Nick Sanchez explains what happened with Matt Crafton
Sanchez, after getting released from the infield care center, gave his side of the story, and a brawl broke out between him and the veteran. He had no injuries from the confrontation, but he said he might have broken his nose.
He pointed out that it was the veterans who started the fight. Sanchez said he was walking back his howler, and Crafton landed a cheap shot on him from the back. He admitted that he didn’t get a chance to get him back but added that fighting is part of the game.
“I was walking back to the hauler, tapped on my back, got punched in the face. Cheap shot, but it is what it is, I guess. I’m all for fighting, but no cheap shots, and I got a cheap shot and didn’t really have a chance to get him back. It is what it is, it’s part of racing,” Sanches said (H&T: Road&Track).
