Hendrick Motorsports’ Chase Elliott is the most popular driver in the NASCAR Cup garage. He has won five consecutive Most Popular Driver awards, cementing his place as the fan-favorite of the sport. He inherited the fan base of his father and ex-Cup champion, Bill Elliott, who has the record for most popular driver award wins (16).

With this popularity, it is no surprise that most fans want to know more about the driver’s life outside the sport. One of the most searched quires about the driver on Google was “Is Chase Elliott a Swifttie?” Fans wanted to know if the Chevy star was a fan of pop icon Taylor Swift, who recently broke the internet after going public about her relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce.

In a recent video posted by HMS, where Elliott was asked the most popular Google search queries about him, he came across the Swiftie question. Without hesitation, he answered it. He pointed out that though he isn’t sure about his status, he is a big fan of the multiple Emmy-winning singer. Elliott said that the Swiftie Nation seemed fun and that he should join.

Kenny Wallace, Ex-NASCAR driver and brother of Cup champion Rusty Wallace, says he is a fan of Taylor Swift as well. In a recent episode of his podcast, he weighed in on the Swift-Kelce romcom and how some of the football purists are criticizing it for taking center stage in the NFL world.

He pointed out that he isn’t being a grumpy old man about the news, as it supposedly makes everyone happy. He says if Swift’s love life makes the world, which is going through some tough episodes, happy, he is fully on board with it.

As long as something makes everybody happy in a messed-up world right now. Things aren’t too great right now everywhere in everybody’s life. If it takes a girl who sings good music and she fell in love with a football player, it doesn’t bother me. Hell, actually, maybe I’m a Swiftie.
