NASCAR Whelen Euro Series is the premier stock car racing championship’s European counterpart. The series hosts stock car races similar to that of NASCAR in European circuits. The series has released its 2023 calendar. It consists of 6 championship races and two special exhibition races.
The 450 HP, FJ tubular steel frame race car, will make its debut on the ice next season. This will be the first NASCAR-sanctioned race on ice. The Arctic Ice Race event will be hosted by Rovaniemi, Finland. The race is scheduled for March 4 and 5.
All three NASCAR manufacturers will have their brands represented by the team. The 2022 season had nearly 30 cars each race day, which proves the success and growing popularity of the sport in the continent. The race will be live telecasted through NASCAR-Euro’s official YouTube Channel for fans outside Europe.
