“Last year was a very good year and this year, so far, has gone in a very good way. We have to continue to work, not feel comfortable and not stay still because everyone is working very hard. I feel like that has been one of the keys of Trackhouse to continue to evolve and continue to move forward.” Suarez had his first cup win at Sonoma last season. He ended the year with his career-best finish. He was 10th in the overall standings.

The Mexican feels that he has grown over the last season. He wants to be a better leader and take the team forward. Suarez admitted that he is his own harshest critic. Discipline is very important to him. The No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driver stated that he is not perfect but is better than who he was a year ago. His data from Joe Gibbs Racing and Stewart-Haas Racing prove that he is indeed a better driver now.

This is the 31-year-old’s strongest start to a season. Suarez is thrilled by the events unfolding. He is relishing his Cup Series races. Trackhouse Racing, apart from their two impeccable drivers, has signed another part-time driver. Kimi Raikkonen, an ex-F1 champion, will make his appearance this season. Suarez will have to prove himself and have a solid finish at the end of the season. Meanwhile, he can be cheerful about his good run so far.
