NASCAR will hit the Dover Motor speedway for the DuraMAX Drydene 400 following the intense Talladega race. The unique Concrete oval will be a challenge for drivers as the track will host the Next-Gen cars for the first time.

Trackhouse Racing is on fire in 2022 as they have won 2 cup races so far this season, becoming one of the 3 teams with more than one win after 10 rounds of arcing alongside Joe Gibbs Racing and Hendrick Motorsport, thanks to their No:1 car driver Ross Chastain won last week at Talladega and previously at COTA.

Ross Chastain’s teammate Daniel Suarez who drives the No:99 car on the other hand is still searching for the first win of the season as he struggles with luck. The Mexican often finds himself at the wrong place at the wrong time which inevitably causes his lack of wins. Now Daniel Suarez comes forth suggesting that he has high expectations for the No:99 car at the oval.

Daniel Suarez acknowledged that Dover is one of his favorite tracks as he believes the feeling the drivers get from the car is pretty incredible. He went on to say that the Dover track always has been one of his best tracks statistically and his runs in the past few races give him high expectations for the Cup race on Sunday.

Actually, Dover is one of my favorite tracks that we go to. It’s so much fun and the feeling you get inside the car is pretty incredible. It’s also been one of my best tracks, statistically. My expectations are really high for this weekend because I have run so well in the past there,” Daniel Suarez said.

Daniel Suarez went on to say that he wants his teams to secure better finishes in the future and added that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time in Talladega which caused his amazing run to come to a sudden halt. He went on to say that he has a fast Camaro to hopefully get a good result at Dover

We want better finishes. We were at the wrong place at the wrong time in Talladega. Our Camaro was fast. I was really happy with how the car was driving. We know we have a fast car and hopefully, that results in a good finish at Dover on Sunday,” Daniel Suarez added.
