Chase Elliott acknowledged that he was only able to figure out how to get to the top and added that he was fortunate enough to start at the front in the last couple of restarts. He went on share his opinion that he was able to find some pace with his front track position and went on to add that he is excited about the improvements he made throughout the race.
“Towards the end of that first stage, I feel like I started finally halfway figuring it out and was able to go forward some. A lot of it is just whether you get the bottom or the top. We don’t have to choose, but it’s unfair regardless of which end you’re on. Unfortunately, in those last couple of restarts, we had the top,” Chase Elliott said.
“And all kind of at the same time, I felt like I was able to finally make some pace whenever I did get some track position too. Appreciate everybody on our No. 9 Kelley Blue Book Chevy this weekend for sticking with it and sticking with me. I’ve struggled. I’m excited to have made some improvements throughout the race,” Chase Elliott added.

Ryan Blaney acknowledged that it was a pretty decent race for the No:12 team though they were on the unfortunate side when it came to a position at grid during restarts. He went on to say he has mixed feelings about the day and shared his optimism that the team will move on.
“It was a pretty decent race for us. We had to s 25th and come from the back and I thought our car was pretty fast. I kept having to restart on the bottom a kept losing all the spots we’d gain. Our car was good enough there at the end. I thought I was faster than a couple of guys ahead of me, but it was a fun race. That was nice and not a bad day. We’ll just go on,” Ryan Blaney said.
