Daniel Suarez acknowledged that it is a nice feeling for him to have a spot in the playoff, adding that he feels like he is in a normal situation as he believes he belongs here. He added that having such an amazing team behind him, getting into the playoff is a must to be in a position that he is happy about being in right now.

It feels nice, but honestly, it feels normal. I believe that I belong here. When you have a team like the one I have, I feel like it’s more like a must to be in this position. I think we’re in a great position. I have an amazing team behind me,” Daniel Suarez said.

Daniel Suarez went on to say that the Trackhouse crew has done a tremendous job this year, and they have to evolve through the coming ten races of the post-season. He pointed out that they have to do everything they have been doing so far in the playoffs and get better in int.

Trackhouse has done a tremendous job this year. We have to continue to evolve, though. We cannot sleep for the next ten weeks. It’s the most important part of the season, of course. We have to continue to do the same thing that we’ve been doing and continue to get better,” Daniel Suarez added.

Daniel Suarez went on to address the fact that drivers such as William Byron of HMS are proclaiming him as someone who is flying under the radar in playoffs. He acknowledges that he has goosebumps when his name is bounced around in such discussions and added that he did win his Xfinity series title going into the post-season under the radar.

I got goosebumps by you saying that because I’ve been working very hard to do that. I’m the kind of guy who likes to do it that way. If you think about it, the year I won the [Xfinity Series] championship, not a lot of people bet on me. I did and I won it. So, I like it that way. I like to be under the radar and not make a lot of noise,” Daniel Suarez explained.
