Late January was a nightmare for RRR, as their Mooresville Truck Race shop caught on fire, and the team suffered a significant infrastructure loss. Three crew members of the team were injured in the incident, but it didn’t hold them back from fielding the No:34 ride in Daytona. The team will use a unique paint scheme to honor Mooresville Fire-Rescue that came to their rescue.

I also can’t express how thankful I am to the Mooresville Fire Department for how fast they responded to our call. I believe it was under five minutes, which was absolutely crucial for not only my team and their safety, but for how much they were able to save inside the building and the building itself,” team owner Josh Reaume said on the crucial part fire and rescue team played during the event.

I know that every minute, actually, every second, counts in situations like this, so I feel very fortunate that Mooresville FD was as responsive, prepared, and professional throughout the entire crisis,” he added.
