Kyle Busch, the Richard Childress Racing driver, and Kyle Busch Motorsports team owner, is one of the two NASCAR Cup Series drivers with three wins this season. His first win came at the Auto Club Speedway. Busch also won the Geico 500 and Enjoy Illinois 300. The two-time Cup Series champion will enter the upcoming race at Nashville with four consecutive top-ten finishes.
Though it is Busch’s first season driving the No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, he has adapted well. He is comfortable with his crew and Randall Burnett, his crew chief. Kyle Busch has nine top-ten finishes in the series and three victories. While all this looks promising for him and his team, Busch claims it would be challenging to tackle the unknowns. However, he is ready for it.
Kyle Busch claims he feels confident about the last ten weeks of the schedule. The two races he wants to watch out for are Bristol and Martinsville, as they are short-track packages. Busch stated, “But the rest of the races I’m actually looking forward to; I feel like there is an even slate there for us to be as good as we’ve been this year and go out there and score good strong runs.” He hopes to fight for his third Cup title.

Kyle Busch praises his team and says they are where they need to be
The Candy Man praised RCR for building good cars while talking about them being a championship-caliber team. He believes they have been doing a great job with the details. Busch added, “From what I can tell, it’s where we need to be. Praises to them, and I’m looking forward to racing out the rest of the year with the way that we’ve had our start.”
Speaking about the championship, Kyle Busch confessed that he did not see any one driver or team who stood out separately. Out of 16 races, there have been ten different winners. This contributes to why Busch believes anything can happen over the next races. He cited Joey Logano as an example. He said they were terrible through the summer last season but went on to win the 2022 Cup Series championship.
Kyle Busch finds it difficult to answer if they are a championship-caliber team. He claims they are, but there are also twelve other efficient teams. Busch says there are unknowns with these Next Gen cars as drivers run into each other often. Busch claims anything can happen during the race, as the race leader could get wrecked, and there might be a “surprise winner.” The 38-year-old believes it is uncertain and one should play it out.
