Kyle Busch enjoys his life with his new team and crew at Richard Childress Racing. He signed with the Chevy team during the 2022 playoffs and joined them soon after the end of the season. RCR No:3 Camaro ZL1 driver and grandson of team owner Rick Hendrick, Austin Dillon, played a huge part in the team’s decision to pursue Busch.

Austin Dillon celebrated his 33ed birthday on April 27, and the 2018 Daytona 500 winner got birthday wishes from around the NASCAR community. Busch, known for his savage Tweets, had the “perfect” birthday wish for his teammate. He wrote, “Happy birthday Austin Dillon. Another year older, not sure about wiser,” with a winking emoji at the end.

Dillon, preparing the team to return to its glory days, knew Busch was the perfect replacement for the 23XI Racing-bound Tyler Reddick. The two times Cup champion soon joined the No:8 crew and has made a good relationship with his teammate. They were able to showcase their good chemistry since the start of the season with the performance at Clash and Daytona 500, where they showcased good teamwork.

While Busch thrives in 2023 with two wins, the No:3 crew struggles to perform. The heavy penalty for an infraction for the Martinsville race week hindered them more. Dillon has scored just two Top 10s so far this year. And the rest of his finish other than Martinsville was outside the Top 15. Dillon has to step and deliver to earn a playoff spot. He has the best guy in Busch to learn how to bounce back from struggles in Busch; he has to listen to the veteran.

The fans appreciated the family atmosphere they saw in the RCR garage with Busch and Dillon running the show. They joined Busch, wishing Dillon a happy birthday. Some fans urged Busch to get his season back together, while others had some friendly and not-so-friendly trolls aimed at him.
