He announced the news via a short video clip posted on his Social Media handle, which features incredible comeback stories of NFL legend Tom Brady and NBA legend and 23XI Racing co-owner Michale Jordan.

Busch will race 5 allowed races next season with the No:10 car of Kaulig Racing. He is the all-time leading winner in the Xfinity Series with 102 wins alongside the 2009 Championship. His 2009 championship was one of the few reasons NASCAR limits the elite Cup driver’s entry into lower-tier series to limited schedules.

He will start races in his hometown race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Phoenix Raceway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Watkins Glen International, and finally at, Darlington Raceway. Busch has a packed schedule for 2023 as he also will race five races in the Truck series with his team Kyle Busch Motorsports, which joined the Chevy Gragare after his RCR move. Some expected him to drive the No:3 Car of RCR in the series but were disappointed.

The No:10 car will be the part-time entry of the Chevy team in 2023 and has already announced 3 drivers for the different races this season. Busch’s RCR teammate Austin Dillon, Justin Haley, and former No:16 Kaulig Xfinity series racer who returned to Cuip series for the 2023 AJ Allmendinger.

Kyle Busch started zero Xfinity series races for the first time since making the series debut in 2022. Buscvh took a step back from the series after scoring wins in all five races he ran in 2021, with Joe Gibbs Racing, and achieving the Magic number 100. He became only the third driver to score more than 100 wins in a NASCAR series after the great Richard Petty, who has 200 Cup wins, and David Pearson, 106 Cup wins.

I’m looking forward to having some fun in the Xfinity Series again. What Matt Kaulig and Chris Rice have built in just a few short years at Kaulig Racing is impressive, and with the team’s alliance with Richard Childress Racing (RCR), this made for an easy decision to be back competing in a series that I’ve had success in over the years,” Kyle Biuusch said.

Kyle Busch is a true competitor and will forever be known as one of the best – and winningest – NASCAR drivers of all time. We’re excited to have a former Cup and Xfinity Series champion bring his experience and knowledge to our team. There is no doubt in our minds that Kyle will help our Xfinity Program grow and contend for wins this year,” Kaulig Racing president Chris Rice said.
