Tom Brady has made the ultimate choice and has decided to retire from the NFL effective immediately. Brady will go down as the greatest NFL player to ever grace the field, and it is highly improbable to think that someone else will take his place.

The legendary QB was on top of the game for 23 seasons. He holds countless records and has won almost everything there is to be won in the sport. The 45-year-old completed football but still played with a chip on his shoulders. However, no one can beat father time, but he will always be remembered as the athlete who tried his best.

Brady shared the news of his retirement on his Instagram with an emotional video essay that will surely tear up every NFL fan around the world. The video started with the former Patriots QB greeting everyone, and then he got straight to the point and shared the grim news with everyone watching.

The 7 time Super Bowl winner pointed out that this time he won’t make a big deal out of his retirement like last time and opted for a single Instagram post where he thanked everyone who was involved in this beautiful journey.

“I’ll get to the point right away, I’m retiring,” Tom Brady stated with melancholy. “Thank you guys so much to every single one of you who supported me, my family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors,” Brady continued. “Thank you guys for allowing to live my absolute dream, I wouldn’t change a thing, love you all.”

This isn’t the first time Brady has retired, but this time his speech felt personal and super emotional. It looked like the legendary QB was holding back tears while bidding goodbye to the beautiful game.
