Trackhouse Racing’s $100 million popstar co-owner Pitbull is set to perform at the Daytona 500
The 2024 edition of the NASCAR Cup Series opener, the Daytona 500, is just 23 days away.

The 2024 NASCAR season will kick off with the iconic Daytona 500 race on February 18. Before the first race of the third season of the Next-Gen era, popstar Pitbull will perform as part of the pre-race show. Pitbull is closely connected with NASCAR as he is the co-owner of the Cup Series team, Trackhouse Racing.
Pitbull was one of the high-profile team owners to enter the sport ahead of the Next-Gen era. h joined hands with Justin Marks to enter the sports as a single-car team, which now is a two-car operation with a third for part-time entry. NBA legend Michael Jordan also entered sport with him in 2021 with his team 23XI Racing, which also had a similar growth.
Pitbull, while talking about performing ahead of one of the best races in the world, pointed out that he finds it an honor to perform at the event. He will be hoping to see his drivers, Ross Chastain or Daniel Suarez, get a win in the prestigious event. Pitbull has also announced a new version of his Trackhouse album: Trackhouse: Daytona 500 edition.

Daytona International Speedway President Frank Kelleher pointed out that having Pitbull as the performer for the event will be the best way to get energy flowing among the fans ahead of the race. He expects Pitbull to bring the South Florida vibes and culture to Daytona.

Pitbull has continued to release major hits for over a decade and has shown tremendous longevity as an artist over the years. He’ll bring all the South Florida vibes and culture up here to put on quite the show for the 66th running of The Great American Race.
After the performance by Pitbull on Sunday, February 18, thirty-six full-time drivers and four part-time entries have to outqualify the remaining part-time entries. The fans are eager to see the 2024 edition of the Great American Race that will set the tone for the whole upcoming season.
