Pop sensation Pitbull to name his upcoming album ‘Trackhouse,’ after his NASCAR team
The Trackhouse album will feature Pitbull’s new singles "Me Pone Mal" with Omar Courtz and "Jumpin" with Lil Jon.
Justin Marks, Ross Chastain, Pitbull and Daniel Suarez
Pop star Pitbull, who is the co-owner of the Chevy Cup series outfit Trackhouse Racing, will name his next bilingual album after the team. The new album, named Trackhouse, will be one of the primary sponsors for Daniel Suarez’s No:99 Chevy Camaro ZL1 at the Dover Cup race next Sunday. The album theme will be featured on the car’s hood and other parts alongside co-primary sponsor Freeway Insurance.
Pitbull joined the Trackhouse Entertainment group in 2021 alongside Justin Marks, a former racer turned team owner. They joined the Cup series full-time the same year alongside 23XI Racing of Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin. The team went winless in their first season as a single-car operation with Suarez behind the wheel. They acquired the assets and driver Ross Chastain of Chip Ganassi Racing in 2022 as part of their expansion.
“When I joined Trackhouse in 2021, I told the team we wanted to make history. Music is the universal language, and music is culture. Our mission has been to build a culture at Trackhouse…this is just the beginning of all we will do together, not only in racing but music and, more importantly, in education. Want to say, Justin, Ty (Norris), Daniel, Ross (Chastain), and the entire Trackhouse team, it’s an honor to make history together… now let’s step on the gas, Dale!” Pitbulls said about the new album.
“I am honored that one of the most influential and recognized artists in the world would be so proud of his association with us that he would name his album Trackhouse. He shares the vision and passion for impacting the lives of the underrepresented,” Justin Marks said.
“We are creating and compelling a movement of positivity and possibility, using the platform and excitement of sports and music. With this album, we are going to have the attention of a global demographic that is ready to be inspired into action for themselves, their families, and their future,” Justin Marks added.

Trackhouse is yet to convert their solid runs to a win in 2023
The 2022 season saw them quickly establishing themselves as title contenders. Chastain won two races with the team, while Suarez scored a historic Sonoma win. Ross Chastain finished P2 in the championship last year, and both drivers have extended the momentum to the 2023 season. The only this missing, though, is a win.
Ross Chastain has been a consistent campaigner since the start of the season. He has scored 3 top 5s and a top 10 from the first ten races of the season. He has scored a finish outside the top 20 just thrice. But the Watermelon man, who is having some issues on track regarding aggressive racing, is yet to convert his solid runs to win. He won two races at the same time last season.
Daniel Suarez, who has already secured a longtime deal, is still isn’t free from the curse of bad luck. After an impressive start to the season that saw him score three back-to-back top 10s, he went into a slump. The poor stark of outside Top 20 finishes was only broken in Martinsville with a P17. He scored a P9 last Sunday at Talladega and showed signs of a comeback.
