Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is an American Stock racing car driver, competing full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series for JTG Daugherty Racing. Born in Tennessee, Stenhouse started racing karts at the age of 6. He won 47 races and collected 90 podiums before moving to car racing. Stenhouse’s major-league stock car racing debut came in 2008 when he entered the ARCA Racing Series for Roush Fenway Racing.
He competed in the Xfinity Series as a part-time driver in 2009. Stenhouse struggled initially but managed to win the Rookie of the Year award.
