Anheuser-Busch has announced they will sponsor Trackhouse Racing No:1 Chevy Camaro ZL1 driver Ross Chastain from the 2024 season. The sponsorship will be under the $96.4 valued multinational brewing company Busch Light brand. They have been the official sponsor of 2024 NASCAR champion Kevin Harvick since 2016.
Busch Light is one of the legacy sponsors of the sport and has been around NASCAR since 1979. They were the title sponsors of the now Xfinity Series for more than a couple of decades, starting from 1982 till 2007. They returned to NASCAR’s official sponsor role after 11 years in 2018 as also the “Official Beer of NASCA.”
Busch Light has been a part of Kevin Harvick’s success story over the last seven years and has won multiple races with the veteran. They decided to pick Ross Chastain as their new driver, as Harvick will be retiring at the end of 2023 and will become a Fox NASCAR broadcaster. Chastain is replacing one of the most respected drivers in the sport’s history and has heavy expectations to meet.
Going into the 2024 season, Chastain, for the first time in his career, doesn’t have to worry about the sponsors or not having a seat. He has already secured a multiyear deal with Justin Mark’s team and now has a full-time sponsor. The Chevy driver can now stop worrying about landing a sponsor for the next race every other week.

Ross Chastain found it hard to keep the Busch Light deal a secret
It was an open secret that Busch Light was scouting for a replacement for Kevin Harvick, and Chastain was one of their prime targets. The deal was done many months ago, and the finalization was done behind the scenes. Replacing such a legendary figure and getting a legacy sponsor was too much for Chastain to keep a secret as it was a dream come true, but he did his best.
He revealed the secret to only a handful of people in his close circle and kept his mouth closed about it with the rest. Among the first he broke the news was Justin Marks, the team owner. He then opened up to his father and brother, Chad Chastain. The three times Cup race winner also shared the news with some close family members.
Chastain is quoted saying by Forbs, “I’m impressed that we’ve kept it as close to the vest as we have. But I just know that’s, that’s what’s best for us. So, it’s not hard to not say anything. Once I talked with Justin (team owner Marks) about enough to get his blessing, I did go to like my dad and brother and mom and some family on it just to give them the good news when I could. But that’s a tight circle.”
