As fans eagerly await their joint appearance on the track, the partnership between Berry and Preece at KHI is poised to be a defining chapter in the team’s quest for success in the late-model arena. Berry’s enthusiasm is palpable, evident in his statement;

Late Model Stock racing is something I've done a lot of in the past, so to get to do that with KHI and Kevin as they are rebuilding is going to be a lot of fun."

Berry’s commitment to the upcoming races, including the Fall Brawl at Hickory Motor Speedway, the South Carolina 400 at Florence Motor Speedway, and the Thanksgiving Classic at Southern National Motorsports Park, adds an exciting dimension to KHI’s late-model aspirations.

Sharing his excitement about the opportunity, Preece acknowledged the race’s significance for full Fender racers and outlined his goal of bringing the Tom Dawson trophy back to North Carolina, and perhaps, Connecticut one day. Preece’s perspective as a ‘racer from the Northeast’ adds an intriguing element to the collaboration, positioning him as somewhat of an ‘outlaw’ set to challenge the established order in the late-model scene.
