Verizon 200: NASCAR Indianapolis Motor Speedway Cup Race when and where to watch and how to watch live?

NASCAR Indianapolis Motor Speedway

NASCAR will hit the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which hosts one of the most respected open-wheel racing events in the world the Indy 500, for the 22nd  round of cup racing the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard, on Sunday the first of August. On the same weekend, the NASCAR Xfinity series along with the Indy series race will take place at the track while the Truck series will hit the Indianapolis Raceway Park.

Going into the race the battle for the top is expected to be between Chase Elliott who was awarded the last race win following the DQ of actual winner Denny Hamlin and Hamlin himself. Elliott will be hoping to continue his amazing run in the last five races as he hasn’t finished below P2 winning 3 of the 5 and increasing the point gap he has between Ross Chastain to secure the regular season championship.

The 2.439-miles road course will also offer AJ Allmendinger, who won the last cup race at track another shot at a win while for drivers such as Martin Truex Jr. and Ryan Blaney it’s their chance to cement their championship spots. For Kevin Harvick, the time is running out to secure a race win in order to get into the playoff as the veteran won’t be able to get there with the winless run he currently has.

The cup series race surely is lit as the time is running out for drivers to make it to the playoff while the Xfinity series will see another level of rivalry among Ty Gibbs and Noah Gregson as the latter will be riding the momentum from his Pocono win while the former will be high on confidence after his Cup debut at Pocono, which he will make two in Indy, and newly found maturity.
