Since 1979, the NASCAR Busch Light Clash has been one of the most anticipated events in the stock car racing world. It’s a non-championship pre-season exhibition race where a qualified group of drivers compete against each other to kick-start the season. The series has been renamed multiple times over change depending on the title sponsor; the Busch Light/ Bud Light has been the present and long-serving sponsor.

Initially, the event was hosted at the Daytona International Speedway as part of the Speedweeks, with the race being held before the ARCA season opener race. The event is hosted at the LA Coliseum on a temporary 0.25-mile track. The change was made in 2022, alongside the debut of NASCAR Next-Gen cars. 2024 is the third edition of the event.
