Multinational drinks and brewing giants Anheuser-Busch have announced that they will sponsor Ross Chastain from the 2024 season after signing a multi-year sponsorship deal with Trackhouse Racing. He will be sponsored under the Busch Light brand, previously the primary sponsor for Stewart Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick since 2016.
The brand replaced the 2014 Cup champion Kevin Harvick as he will retire at the end of this season after a Hall of Fame-worthy 22-year-long career in the premier stock car racing championship. Busch Light wanted to continue the longstanding NASCAR tradition by finding the best replacement. Being a partner close to the sport since 1979, Anheuser-Busch is among the irreplaceable legacy sponsors of the sport.
Krystyn Stowe, head of marketing for Busch Family Brands at Anheuser-Busch. While talking about the decision to hire Ross Chastain pointed out that they made the call because he is a rising star of the sport. They were impressed by the fandom and unique driving style of the driver, who had his breakout season last year. He finished as the runner in the championship with two wins in the bag in his first year in a competitive car.
“When Kevin Harvick decided to make the 2023 season his last, we respected and supported his decision…Ross Chastain is one of the most committed drivers in the sport that fans can’t get enough of. With his unique driving style, popularity with his fans, and becoming a rising star in the NASCAR Cup Series, we are so excited to have the opportunity to work together.” Stowe is quoted saying by Forbs.

Ross Chastain, since making his NASCAR debut, has never driven with job security and sponsor lined up for the following year. That made him the formidable force he is now at Trackhouse. In his debut season with Justin Marks and Pitbull, he proved he was destined for greatness. He made a fandom with his aggrieve driving style and the viral ‘hail melon’ at Martinsville. Chastain is even tipped to be the next Dale Earnhardt.
While talking about the million-dollar sponsorship deal, he pointed out that having a legacy sponsor and being approached by one was always what he wanted. He added that Trackhouse had fulfilled all his dreams and claimed that he had always been able to forge an incredible relationships with individuals from all the brands he has represented.
“To get asked to be the next guy is it’s everything I’ve ever wanted. It’s everything I’ve ever worked for 13 years now. And it’s all kind of came through with Trackhouse being a Cup team that believes in me and gives me race-winning cars to go compete and then a sponsor,” Chastain said.
“What I always wanted was a sponsor to obviously go with that. And I’ve realized it’s more of a partnership, and as I’ve gotten to know the folks behind the brand of Busch Light, it’s really, really incredible,” Chastain added.
