Joey Logano won the action-packed All-Star race bringing an exciting end to the 200-lap mayhem. However, this was not the weekend’s biggest story. The highlight of the week originated on lap two when Kyle Busch “punted” Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in the wall. This led to the latter claiming that he would take out the former champion at Charlotte, but has received a warning from Busch’s team owner, Richard Childress.

The fight between Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Kyle Busch broke out in the garage after the race’s conclusion. The 36-year-old patiently waited 198 laps to confront Busch about his antics, and when the opportunity was presented in front of him, he punched his rival in the face for his actions. After this heated battle, the three-time race winner asserted that he would take out the No.8 car in Charlotte to take his revenge.

However, this statement did not go well with RCR owner Richard Childress. The 78-year-old warned Stenhouse that if he dared to take out Busch during the weekend in Charlotte, then the consequences for his actions would be monumental, and he would receive a rough beating from him.

I would’ve jumped right in the middle of it. I don’t fight as fair as I used to. I’m a little older. Ricky Stenhouse said that he was going to wreck the 8 car at Charlotte. Well, when I see him, I’m gonna tell him if he does, I’m older, but I’ve just changed my style of fighting. He’ll carry a rough ass-beating.

Ex-RCR driver Kevin Harvick gives his verdict on the incident

The incident in North Wilkesboro was the talk of the town as even former NASCAR drivers joined in on the discussion. Subsequently, 2014 Cup series champion, Kevin Harvick gave his views on the clash between the two drivers and discussed what he would have done if he was in the place of Stenhouse.

The 48-year-old reckoned that both drivers were dwelled in the heat of the moment. However, he did not like the way the JTG driver handled the situation and claimed that if he was in the position of Stenhouse, then he would have not wasted any time and decked Busch instantly.

I think they both took the opportunity of the All-Star race to settle things up. I think if I was going to do it, I think you should have just decked him right in the walk up.
Kevin Harvick said in his Happy Hour podcast.

Despite this, fans expect this beef between the two rivals to cool down soon. However, stern penalties are issued for the 36-year-old as NASCAR has been stringent regarding physical violence and such penalties seemed inevitable.
