Richard Childress Racing’s Kyle Busch had one of the most dramatic All-Star race weekends of his career this Sunday. He started the race with contact with the wall on lap one after Ricky Stenhouse Jr. squeezed him to the wall in a three wide battle. He retaliated by sending the No:47 Chevy to wall which forced him to DNF.
The 2022 Daytona 500 winner was furious at Kyle Busch for the incident, and he showed it as soon as he got to the pitlane. He parked his car in the o:8 pit-box before going to have a conversation with Busch’s crew chief. Later he told the media he would be waiting for the two-time Cup champion once the race gets over.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. threatened to wreck Kyle Busch after his crash
While speaking to the media after the crash, Stenhouse Jr. pointed out that he has told Kyle Busch’s crew already that he would be waiting for the veteran on the pit-road. He delivered on his promises, and it was enough for the day to become more dramatic.
I told Randall that, first I parked it there because I figured that Kyle would probably do something similar. Then just told Randall that you can tell Kyle that I’ll see him afterwards over the radio since there’s no tunnel here, I can’t leave. So, I’ll be here when the race is over.Ricky Stenhouse Jr. said.
The incident took the limelight away from Joey Logano’s All-Star race win. The only other two times Cup champion, has been straggling throughout the 2024 season and with the win he would have a positive momentum going into the remaining regulars season races.
