Hill came up the track, while Herbst was on the outside lane closer to the wall. He made contact with the left rear of the SHR Ford and sent it to the inside grass. It ruined the race for the driver, who fortunately went on to finish P10 while his rival took home P7. He was livid in the team radio over the crash and his crew made similar remark, even calling Austin Hill “a hack.”
"I run him down from a straightaway back, pass him cleanly and what does he do? He wrecks me" Riley Herbst says of Austin Hill.

Riley Herbst is a sleepless about his NASCAR future

Hence, he is looking for a good seat for the coming season and has hopes of landing one in the top-tier. But he hasn’t been able to do so and it’s making him sleepless.
Recently there are some rumors that suggest he might land a Cup seat with 23XI Racing due to his Monster Energy partnership. But it won’t be easy considering Toyota has some talented driver eying for the seat as well. So, it will be interesting to see what is next for Herbst in NASCAR.
