Russell Westbrook has been the most criticized player so far the season and he again has proved why most of that criticism for his individual performance and game sense is correct. Recently, the Phoenix Suns hosted the LeBron James led Los Angeles Lakers at Footprint Center. The Arena was on fire and hyped-up watching the show of pure domination the Suns put on. The veteran squad of Lakers once again fell short and proved their consistency on being inconsistent right.
The final box score stands at 111-140 favoring the Phoenix Suns. An embarrassing 29 points blowout loss for the Lakers where Russell Westbrook again gets the most blame he can for the loss. Currently, the Los Angeles Lakers are ranked as the ninth seed in the western conference with the record of 29 wins and 38 losses at .433. The game eventually became closely contested and head to head but the scoring greats of Suns in the first quarter over the starters of Lakers (Russell Westbrook, LeBron, Stanley Johnson and others) got the job done. In the first quarter, the Suns outscored the Lakers by 48-22 and got the game in their bag as the Lakers never healed from that early blow.
Russell in the game was a complete headache for the team as again there were low IQ basketball plays and chemistry issues from his sides. In the game, he dropped 13 points, 2 assists and 2 rebounds while everyone thought he’ll give away a performance to remember after his response to “Westbrick” shaming by fans. His shooting slump continued while he ran the offense as the primary guard and again stands as an important reason behind the loss.

LeBron was already back on the bench with a timeout being called as Russell Westbrook had the floor messed up with him playing no-defense showing out no hustle to rebound or steal the ball while just missing buckets every time he gets his hands on the ball at the offensive end.
Fans spectating him messing it all up for the team are again trolling and criticizing Russell for his underperformance. While many want him to leave as they think the trade was worst and so is his overpaid contract.
