The Los Angeles Lakers made a strong statement after their 3rd win. After making a huge statement in game 2, the Los Angeles Lakers hosted a playoff game at their home almost 2500 days later. While LeBron James and Anthony Davis shinned bright for the team, the Lake Show almost blew out the Phoenix Suns. The team is now 2-1 up in the first round of the playoff against the Phoenix Suns. While a lot of heat was seen during the game, some beef moments and injuries were also seen during the game. Anthony Davis, the highest scorer of the game was in a fear of disappearing from the game once again. His strong block on Devin Booker and a faulty landing almost ended his night.
The Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns entangled in an intense match up. The game was neck to neck till the half time where Lakers were up by just 3-points. The 2nd quarter was a turn of events. While Phoenix Suns tried building a lead, the Lakers’ defense was extra ordinary to stop every try by the Suns. LeBron James and co. proved why they are rated as the top defensive team in the NBA. As Anthony Davis exploded for 34-points, he stood strong on the rear guard as well. However, there were a lot of injuries that carried out through out.
Injuries scare ahead for Los Angeles Lakers?
Anthony Davis made a strong statement in the 3rd game earlier today. During the conclusion of 2nd quarter, LeBron James turned over the possession and the Phoenix Suns started their transitional offence. Devin Booker ran the floor with the ball and euro stepped KCP for what appeared to be an easy bucket. However, Anthony Davis was not in a mood to see it. AD flew past him and denied the bucket on a chase down. However, his landing space was already occupied by Booker and he had a trip while landing. Davis went straight to hold his hamstring which he struggled with in the past.

Anthony Davis however continued the later part of the game although he was limping in the beginning. He went on to score huge points in the 3rd quarter. The game later steamed up and Dennis Schroder and KCP also faced injuries. KCP’s thigh contusion forced him out for the night. AD’s impact is huge while KCP being a starter will definitely affect Lakers. It is just a matter of time now to see how Suns comeback after their loss.
