DeMarcus Cousins may have helped Bembry up in the most aggressive way
On Sunday night, the Nets were at the Nuggets at their home turf where they not only faced embarrassing loss but fans also witnessed some aggressive help from DeMarcus Cousins. The Nets were the ultimate contenders for the championship this year but it seems that their season might end with a low note as they recorded the worst losing streak of 8 games in the 2021-22 season.
The Nuggets on the other side showed a very dominating game where Nikola Jokic scored 27 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists and they beat the Brooklyn Nets by 124-104. Even DeMarcus Cousins played a crucial role in the win, has he also contributed with five points and 9 rebounds but the thing which became the highlight was his aggressive help to Deandre Bembry.

When only seven minutes were remaining before the end of the second-quarter Cousins moved on fast break to score the point but was blocked by Bembry after which the Nets forward was knocked to the ground by him. Nuggets forward later helped him up in the most aggressive way ever which has flooded NBA Twitter with a lot of hilarious comments.

Will Nuggets extend the contract of DeMarcus Cousins?
The Nuggets might sign DeMarcus Cousins for another 10-days contract, according to the Denver Post. These rumors started rising after his contract ended after the win against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday.
Since Cousins joined the Nuggets, he has been averaging 25% shooting and grabbing 7 rebounds per game while playing 13 minutes per game. Even he wants to remain with the Franchise as he said, “I would love to be here.”
Moreover, the Nuggets leader Nikola Jokic has also appreciated the effort of DeMarcus Cousins and said, “he proved me wrong” while admitting that he can be a great advantage for the team.
