Shaquille O'Neal gifts shoes to the little kid Zion
Shaquille O’Neal is one of the wealthiest athletes, thanks to his savvy business skills and awareness. His favorite activity, however, is not buying stuff from the money he makes, rather, it is giving. Few things give Shaq as much happiness as being the Santa for little kids. Having said that, he does it with a twist. The twist is that he does not care if it is Christmas or not. He just likes giving whenever he gets a chance and that is exactly what he did recently.
A little kid named Zion Lazae Seaton recently posted a reel on Instagram that is doing rounds on the internet. Zion was recently at a store crying when Shaquille O’Neal approached him and asked “What’s wrong with you?” and started talking to him. Zion was crying as his father had brought him to the store to get him a coat but Zion also wanted shoes.

Shaq being Shaq, wasted no time in making the kid’s wishes come true. Shaq bought Zion two pairs of shoes and the coat they were actually at the store for. He also bought some socks for Zion’s father. Shaq made sure not to spoil Zion as he also ‘lectured’ him, as accounted by Zion himself, about listening to his parents.

Zion captioned his post telling the entire tale of his surprise meeting with Shaquille O’Neal ” ‘What’s wrong with you?’ [That] is all I heard before turning around seeing this giant man standing over me. It’s Shaq !!!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes as I was crying I told him I got in trouble from my dad for not listening while in the store. Shaq said, “ go give your dad a hug and tell him you’re sorry.” I did just that as he lectured me about listening to my parents and follow with a question asking me why didn’t I get shoes today”.

Zion went on to tell how Shaq helped him and made his day after listening to his woes – “My parents just came to get me a coat. Shaquille O’Neal then said let’s go pick out some shoes. He blessed me with 2 pairs of shoes, my coat and my dad some socks. I am beyond grateful & blessed. What a day? I’m still in shock and can’t stop talking about this amazing moment”.
Zion ended the post with a funny question for his favorite player Stephen Curry asking him whether he is afraid of Shaq. This comes after Shaq took a jibe at Curry telling Zion that Curry is afraid of him. Zion wrote – “He even watched my basketball videos and told me I was a beast point guard. God bless you [Shaquille O’Neal] thank you again. I pray I see you again when I become [an] NBA player. Oh yeah and to my favorite basketball player Stephen Curry [tagging Curry] Shaq says you’re scared of him, what’s that about?” However, just like Zion, Stephen Curry is Shaquille O’Neal’s favorite player too as mentioned by him on several occasions.
