Following it the University further announced on Twitter that the individual has been barred from being in any other future events.

“We join with @UWBadgers and all #Badgers in condemning the abhorrent anti-Asian actions of an attendee at the Northwestern game this week,” the school said in a statement.

“We applaud NU for removing him. He is no longer welcome at UW Athletics events — we are barring him from buying tickets on our platform.”

Though, it should be appreciated on the part of the university to be spontaneous in reacting to the incident which prevented a potential unrest and have taken a right step in order to set a strong message in front of the people that the institution doesn’t support racism on any grounds.
