Stephen Curry appreciates his team for their performance

Otto Porter Jr’s last quarter performance of scoring 13 points helped the Warriors to keep the match in their hands. This is another evidence of how deep the Warriors are. Whenever the team is in the need of scoring the players can do miracles and carry their team towards victory, tonight it was Porter’s turn to do so.
After the game, Curry expressed his happiness with the performance of the team in the post-game press conference and being confident enough with his answers.

When asked about Porter’s performance whether it came as a surprise to him Curry replied, “Don’t disrespect him like that … He has been working his butt off since he got here this summer. I know he’s been through a lot of injuries and all that, but he’s been working his butt off since he got here this summer. He looks confident and composed with what he was trying to do and getting to his spots, and he’s knocking them down, so it was big,”
He even complimented Potter by saying that he can shoot the ball to praise his shooting skills, which can probably leave a smile on Porter’s face.

Porter joined the Warriors this year only. Despite being criticised for his lack of defensive skills, he was picked because of his average of 40.2% shooting from long distances and it looks like they were not wrong seeing his performance in today’s game.
After beating Suns in today’s game they have a two-match series with Denver Nuggets followed by a game with Utah Jazz. The Warriors currently stand at 27-6 and are in a pretty good position for further matches in the season as well.
