Former Knicks legend Charles Oakley was one of the most destructive forward of his era, he became the reason for the Knicks being the powerhouse in the late 90s and were the biggest challenge for the mighty Chicago Bulls led by Michael Jordan in the Eastern Conference.
Currently, the New York Knicks are not putting a lot of impact and are struggling to perform well in the east but back in the 90s era, they used to dominate everyone under the leadership of Patrick Ewing and for them, Charles Oakley was their key player who caused a lot of trouble to the opponents under the rim.
The 6’9 was so feared that no one wanted to have beef with him neither on nor off the court and therefore he was nicknamed “Oaktree” for his humongous body and no funny business attitude. But usually, the things which everyone is feared to do Dennis Rodman always becomes the part of it which even Oakley talked about where he was pissed off because of him.

Why did Charles Oakley grab Dennis Rodman and threw him out of his steakhouse?
In a recent interview on ‘The Draymond Green Show’, the knicks legend made his appearance where he talked about his beef with NBA hall of fame Dennis Rodman and how he kicked him off from his restaurant. This topic was raised by Draymond Green when he asked Oakley to share about the incident, which he narrated in his book “The Last Enforcer” where Rodman was involved and had been kicked out of a steakhouse.
Oakley mentioned that he had planned a meet-up with Rodman at his steakhouse, but on his way to meet a former Bulls legend, Oakley stopped at a restaurant for about 30 minutes, and then he got a call from the steakhouse manager where he planned to meet Rodman.
Oakley said, “7:20, the manager of the steakhouse called me, ‘Oh! Get here.’ I said, what’s going on? ‘You won’t believe what Dennis doing.’ I said, ‘what he doing?’ He said, ‘he eating off people’s plates.”

When Oakley reached to his steakhouse and sneak peek from the windows to see how Rodman was behaving. He saw that Rodman was exactly behaving as the manager mentioned before therefore Oakley directly confronted him and asked for his nuisance to which Rodman replied that he was just trying to entertain everyone.
Then, annoyed Oakley grabbed Rodman and showed him the way out of his restaurant. After which he yelled at him, “Don’t you ever come around me again in life!” and it seems that Rodman is still feared to face Oakley due to his misconduct.
