NBA fans predict Dwyane Wade will go BROKE after investing in WNBA franchise
Dwyane Wade reportedly wants to invest in WNBA's Chicago Sky.
Dwyane Wade
Dwyane Wade really loves basketball. Even though he hung the gloves back in 2019 and he’s about to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. His unconditional love for the sport still has him around. As of now, Dwyane Wade isn’t balling but is a co-owner of the Utah Jazz and now he may add stakes of another team under his name. And, this time it can be from the WNBA.
The rumors say Dwyane Wade is reportedly interested in investing in Chicago Sky of the WNBA. Also, him trying to be a part of the Chicago Sky makes a lot of sense. As Chicago is his hometown and nothing is better than adding more and making your community better. Wade’s cousin James Wade is the head coach and general manager of the team. Also, they are a solid lock for big runs in the season and have also bagged the 2021 WNBA Championship.
Dwyane Wade recently visited the practice facility of the team. And, guard Dana Evans talking about that moment quoted: “We need people like him. We need more NBA players to help expand the WNBA, and he talked a lot about that. It was pretty encouraging.” It’s fair to say that Wade already has a connection with the Chicago Sky and with multiple sources reporting his interest in investing in the franchise we may soon have him getting a deal.

Dwyane Wade though has never cared about the unnecessary outside noise. Throughout his career and even in retirement he made moves he felt are bright and right for him and society. He’s also a successful businessman and knows where his money is supposed to be. So if he wants to invest in the Chicago Sky of the WNBA and turn some more people into die-hard ball fans he’ll surely knock on the door with an offer to invest. Also, with him being on the chain it would really promote WNBA.
