The NBA Finals have gotten off to a rough start for Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks, with the team falling behind 2-0 to the Boston Celtics. Despite this, Doncic has been putting on a show, leading all players in scoring with an average of 31 points per game.

This is a remarkable feat, especially considering that the next four highest-scoring players in the Finals are all members of the Boston team.

Doncic’s impressive scoring average is a testament to his incredible skill and ability to perform under pressure. He has been shouldering a heavy load for the Mavericks, and his numbers reflect his tireless efforts to keep his team in the series.

Meanwhile, the Celtics’ balanced attack has been key to their success, with five players averaging in double figures. However, none of them have been able to match Doncic’s scoring prowess.

As the series shifts to Dallas for Games 3 and 4, the Mavericks will be looking to get back on track and capitalize on their home-court advantage. If they hope to do so, they will need to find ways to support Doncic’s scoring efforts and shut down the Celtics’ balanced attack.

Luka Doncic and Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck get into heated exchange

Luka Doncic had a heated exchange with Wyc Grousbeck, the owner of the Boston Celtics, during the second game of the NBA Finals. The incident occurred in the third quarter, shortly after Doncic scored against Derrick White, making the score 62-59.

When asked about the incident after the game, Doncic feigned ignorance.

I'm sorry, I don't know who owns the Celtics.
Luka Doncic said during the post game press conference

According to witnesses, Grousbeck reprimanded Doncic, who responded by saying something to the Celtics owner on the next play. Doncic then made a technical foul gesture toward the referees, suggesting that he should be charged with a foul for complaining.
