The Golden State Warriors went to Sacramento to play the Kings, Draymond Green and Justin Holiday got themselves in a mix where Draymond Green was seen punching Justin Holiday when the two were in a tussle to get the ball. Draymond Green has been, since coming back from his injury has been having a feeling of frustration and could be seen venting it out in the air.
The Golden State Warriors were hosted by the Sacramento Kings at the Golden1 Center, the 3rd seed went up against a lowly Sacramento Kings who sit in the bottom half of the table in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. The Golden State Warriors needed a win to go ahead of the Dallas Mavericks. The Warriors finished the game with a win of 109-90. With Stephen Curry out for the Warriors, they have a lot of work to do, with just 3 games to go they need to win all the games to get a higher seed in the playoffs.
Draymond Green has been of late a little off in the game, and it can be seen in his behavior. Draymond Green after coming back from his injury has been a little frustrated at times with his teams’ overall performance. He has been open about speaking about what the team is lacking, and with the postseason approaching, he wants a team that is strong enough to fend off competition from the remaining teams.
Draymond Green Punches Justin Holiday
The Golden State Warriors had a comfortable game against the Sacramento Kings. With Jordan Poole and Andrew Wigging playing a good game, scoring 22 and 25 points respectively for the Warriors. The 1st half of the game was all Warriors, and the Kings didn’t pose any threat to them. The Second half was when the home team settled down and finished the 3rd quarter scoring more points. It was in the 3rd quarter when Draymond Green and Justin Holiday got themselves in a fight, well not a fight but Draymond Green just punching Justin Holiday as he tried to get the ball from him, it was an unnecessary foul given by a player of his calibre.
Draymond Green got the foul and was not agreeing with the call of the referees. With Stephen Curry out for the Warriors with an ankle injury, Draymond Green needs to keep his composure in the game and avoid the instances of getting ejected from the game. Draymond Green cannot afford a suspension at this point in time for the Warriors.
