Skip Bayless on LeBron James' Injury
Being an athlete means pushing your body to its limits to be at the top. At the 37, most athletes tend to call it a career and hang their jerseys up but not LeBron James. The King has been playing at an elite level this season and arguably even better than before.
The four-time MVP has been averaging 29.1 points with 7.7 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game shooting an impressive 52% from the field while putting up such big numbers. This year he has been making more threes in the game than he ever did throughout his entire career as he averages 2.8 made threes per game while shooting 35.2%from beyond the arc.
But along with his growing numbers and dominance on the court, he’s has succumbed to injuries a lot lately as a result affecting the Los Angeles Lakers. At his age, immediate caution is very important but as great as LeBron James might be, people always have their doubts.
Skip Bayless calls out LeBron James for faking an injury
LeBron James was forced to sit out against the Philadelphia 76ers which ultimately lost the Lakers yet another game. Despite all efforts made by Anthony Davis who had 31 points with 12 rebounds on the second night of his return, the rest of the Lakers team just were not having it.
With regards to this situation, Skip Bayless, an NBA Analyst who has been blatant with his opinions on the Lakers team this season had tweeted out saying,” LeBron supposedly has a sore knee. But you wonder if he’s also saving himself for tomorrow night’s at GOAT. He loves to put up big numbers in Charlotte against MJ’s team… as if it that proves anything. Uh, Bron, it would be very different if you actually had play against MJ.”
The Lakers are expected the battle the Charlotte Hornets in an upcoming road game. Bayless accused LeBron of faking his injury out in fear of making a fool out of himself in front of the greatest player of all time due to ‘age’. Why would LeBron James do that if he thought he was the greatest? Isn’t he in the debate for a reason? Many would deny that LeBron may the greatest but he is a unique player who has impacted the game in his way.
