Russell Westbrook is a regular name in National Basketball Association’s headline since the Los Angeles Lakers acquired him in a trade with Washington Wizards as they gave away the most of their young core in the exchange. The Los Angeles Lakers this offseason did some major changes to their roster as LeBron James with the help of the front office hand-picked many veterans to join his squad. This move on paper portrayed Los Angeles Lakers as one of the championship contenders even before the season was started. But the reality isn’t really the same as the team tends to fall again and again with silly mistakes around their team game.
The Los Angeles Lakers are currently ranked as the 7th seed in the western conference with the record tied at 22 wins and 22 losses at .500 as the team is consistently inconsistent. Russell Westbrook has lately been different as he isn’t really sticking to his role of playmaking and assisting.
Los Angeles Lakers recently shifted to the centerless gamestyle which took away the factor of size from the team but provided a bit of mobility and after the match-up against the Utah Jazz it seems like the front office and management may rethink their decisions of going through some major changes. Russell Westbrook early in the game during the start of first quarter was seen assisting the floor cleaner as he helped him by mopping the floor. This was a pure act of kindness from Brodie and it wasn’t the first time we saw him assisting the floor cleaner as he did it in his OKC days too. Fans around the world are portraying it as act from his side to not get traded away as earlier a video of him not letting LeBron James check his poor stats was viral and now him mopping the floor is all over the internet.
Russell is been appreciated by the fans after his clutch performance where he dropped 15 points, 3 assists and 8 rebounds but also has all jokes on him as he assisted the floor cleaner more than the players.
