The Phoenix Suns were one of the biggest surprises of last season and since then, they have repeatedly shown that they are just as good as any other contender in the league. After missing out on the Playoffs for 10 years, the Suns finally made it as Western Conference Champs.
The addition of point guard Chris Paul and a few others are testimony towards how good of a player Devin Booker is. Booker has been a mainstay on the Suns’ roster since being drafted by the team. He has been an incredible asset on offense with the ability to shoot the three-ball with ease.

While shooting his free throws, Devin Booker found the Toronto Raptors mascot as a bit of a distraction urging referees to move the mascot elsewhere. The All-Star guard received a ton of hate for it and fans decided to take it the personal route.

Devin Booker is averaging 23.7 points with 5.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game as he is on pace to earn his second All-Star selection. He stands fifth among guards of the Western Conference with 648,317 votes placing him ahead of teammate Chris Paul, Donovan Mitchell, and Damian Lillard.

While speaking with the NBA star, reporter Kellan Olson got a really short and simple response with Booker saying,” Only problem I have is people still comparing me to Kobe Bryant when i told them in the playoffs, stop bringing up mamba mentality. I am inspired by Kobe Bryant and Mamba Mentality but I am not Kobe Bryant.”
Book has been compared multiple times to the late great Kobe Bryant for being the next close thing to the former great Laker. Booker was criticized on his mindset while playing games as you would have seen in an older video of him getting double teamed in a pickup game.
The Suns stand number one overall in the league with a record of 32 wins and 9 losses ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors. There is a high chance of the team making the playoffs once again with a possible shot at winning the title. They may not be the most flashy team on the court but their playing style gathers up wins.
