“I had no expectations.”: Shannon Sharpe on Los Angeles Lakers loss against the Chicago Bulls

In the recent match-up of Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls at United Center the Los Angeles Lakers fell short against the Chicago Bulls resulting in a 110-115 loss. The Los Angeles Lakers are currently ranked at the 7th position in the western conference with the record of 16-15 (W-L) and the Chicago Bulls are currently ranked at 2nd position in the eastern conference with the record of 18-10 (W-L).


The Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bulls both the team were missing a bunch of their key players due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols but DeMar DeRozan stepped up against the LeBron James‘ Lakers and signed the win deal for the Bulls. DeMar DeRozan erupted with 38 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds for the team while missing the star scorer Zach LaVine.

The Los Angeles Lakers were bad on offensive end as well as the defensive end while turning the ball over a lot resulting in free points. Having Anthony Davis side-lined for a month at least the Los Angeles Lakers were already seen struggling against the Bulls and it was very expected by Shannon Sharpe as the Hall of Famer of American Football said it himself while discussing the loss at Undisputed.

Shannon Sharpe is a co-host at Undisputed of Fox Sports Media Group’s with Skip Bayless and recently while discussing the loss of Los Angeles Lakers against the Bulls with Skip, he had a lot to say, Shannon when asked about his disappointment for the loss he replied he had no expectations and further mentioned the turnarounds of Los Angeles Lakers against Chicago Bulls and also Minnesota Timberwolves which both resulted in a loss while also criticizing the team for poor efforts.

I’m not disappointed because I already knew going into the game that they were going to shoot a bunch of bricks, turn the ball over, and be horrible from the free throw line.” Not holding back Shannon Sharpe also mentioned Karl Anthony Towns‘ too-small celebration after finishing a baby hook on Anthony Davis earlier and how AD was suppose to do do that.

Shannon Sharpe was very right with everything he said as the 19 turnovers against Chicago Bulls really resulted in giving away 29 free points which helped the Bulls to close the lead. Mentioning the Los Angeles Lakers, Shannon Sharpe called out the team as Turnover pro, no play defence team and horrible from the free throw line as he said he has seen it all in the 31 games of Los Angeles Lakers.
