“I hope they lose” Charles Barkley curses short-handed Nets to slip places in East after Kyrie Irving’s ‘arrogant’ stance on vaccination

Charles Barkley also know as the “Round Mound of Rebound” is a retired National Basketball Association player who is also a Hall of Famer and a legend known for his great skills near the rim. Now after retirement Charles Barkley has stepped into the entertainment side of NBA as he now is a successful NBA analyst for NBA on TNT (Turner Network Television). He is a great player critic and the most honest person to say it without thinking twice as he picks many hot takes against NBA players every now and then.

Charles Barkley this time as again come up with a hot take against the Brooklyn Nets as he targets the unvaccinated star Kyrie Irving. Recently the Brooklyn Nets had a match-up against the Cleveland Cavaliers which resulted in a 7 point defeat for the team as Cavaliers edged over them with the final box score of 107-114. The Big 3 again weren’t together on the court as Kevin Durant is diagnosed with a sprained MCL in the left knee and is side-lined for a good month and more. In his absence the championship contenders look like any other normal regular team as they fell short against the Cavaliers even though James Harden and Kyrie Irving tried their best.

The Brooklyn Nets are currently ranked as the third seed in the eastern conference with the record of 27 wins and 16 losses which has heavily affected their position in the power rankings as they now stand on 9^th position falling down from leading the place. Kevin Durant absence will and is affecting the record of Brooklyn Nets as they now only have James Harden leading the team at home and a injury prone Kyrie for his support at road games. Charles Barkley pointed all these facts out as he criticized them.

Charles Barkley’s criticism for Kyrie Irving and the Nets.

Charles Barkley has never been a fan of Kyrie Irving and his game as he again targets the unvaccinated status of his relating it to Kevin Durant’s absence for 4-6 weeks. In the post game segment of Cleveland Cavaliers and Brooklyn Nets match-up Kyrie Irving made it clear that he stands on his decision of not getting vaccinated even if the team is short handed. Based on this Sir Charles at NBA on TNT sitting with Shaquille O’Neal and others quoted: “He really has to consider getting vaccinated….I’m not talking about this dude anymore. I just hope they lose.”

Chuck first talked about Kyrie considering to get vaccinated and discussed the topic of sacrifice which was initiated by Shaq and then also drew attention on a fact that he has basically cheated Kevin Durant since they both discussed and planned joining the Brooklyn Nets together. Somewhere Charles is very right as he again pointed out a important fact of Brooklyn Nets slipping positions in the conference ranking if Kyrie doesn’t agree on getting vaccinated.
