“I think it’s over”- Stephen A Smith says about LeBron James considering Lakers poor performance
Stephen A Smith has been religiously vocal about his opinions and theories, and this time it concerns the LA Lakers and the living legend himself LeBron James.
There has been a lot of consternation surrounding LA Lakers performance since the season began, and there seems to be no end to it. The Lakers consistent portrays of distorted offense and disarranged defense has been making fans lose hope.
The Lakers may have assembled an illustrious and gaudy roster but the performance has been nothing but laughable. Half of the roster is either injured or can’t perform well like Russell Westbrook.
Westbrook’s joining LA Lakers is amongst one of the most highlighting parts of this season, and the anticipation it built was another level. The whole NBA fraternity was curious to see LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook play together for the same jersey but the hype only got replaced by the air of despondency. And, Sports Journalist Stephen A Smith isn’t keeping quiet about it.
Stephen A Thinks LeBron James might not win another NBA Title
James has only appeared in 6 of the Lakers games and has been sitting out after acquiring an injury in his abdomen. Though He still comes to watch the match and guide the team through the quarters. But his absence on the court is conspicuous.
But to Stephen A Smith it is quite evident that LeBron James isn’t winning another title. The Lakers are just 15 games into the season, and Smith has a solid analysis, talk about efficiency.
On a recent episode of First Take, ESPN’S Highest paid personality states it clearly that it’s over for the Lakers. He says, “I think LeBron has won his last title. I think it’s over.”
As per Smith, he didn’t say that LeBron’s Carrier is finished but his time to win the title is slipping through his fingers because of Lakers poor performance. So, even if he comes back then it is quite not possible to qualify. Smith is all in if it comes to the Warriors being this season’s winners.
The last two matches for the Lakers have been quite arduous; after all losing big can’t be easy. The Chicago Bulls blasted them off in a score of 103-121 and the defending champions the Milwaukee Bucks dominated them in every aspect in yesterday’s match. The Lakers will face off against the Boston Celtics.
