Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid is nicknamed ‘Troel’ and it is for a reason why people call him by that name. He is very well known for trolling the people on the internet who tries to bother him, he has the ability to irritate some people just by making fun of them which many NBA fans appreciate.
It seems that when officially Ben Simmons has left the Sixers, Embiid can’t stop himself to troll his former teammate on Twitter he shared a hilarious post to make fun of just when the trade news broke out. Here’s what Embiid explained about his post. The star center said, “I saw the picture on the internet and thought he was well dressed.”
76ers star Joel Embiid says winning was secondary to Ben Simmons, being the star was more of his priorities
It was earlier reported that these two Sixers stars are not comfortable while playing with each other but they still somehow try to avoid things to go public to maintain the team front. But now both Simmons and Embiid are on a different team. Meanwhile, Embiid made his first public statement about the Sixers trade deal with the Nets for Ben Simmons.
“So, it’s unfortunate that winning was not the biggest factor. It’s unfortunate that for him.” Embiid further added, “having his own team and being the star was more of his priorities. But I always thought that everything was great, the fit was great. But unfortunately, Ben thought that it wasn’t. But we all move on.”

Why did Ben Simmons wanted to leave the Sixers led by Joel Embiid?
The whole controversy started when Ben Simmons refused to play for the 76ers at the start of the season and wanted to be traded away from Philadelphia. The reason is still not clear, but primarily he was upset when he was blamed for the team’s playoff loss to the Atlanta Hawks last season.
After the series, Embiid said that the “turning point” was when Simmons didn’t attempt the dunk when had the chance and tried to blame him for the loss. It can be said that this was the starting point of their beef within the team.
Moreover, the Sixers have made a pretty good deal to include James Harden in their campaign while Embiid even called Harden the best player. In the postgame conference, Embiid concluded by saying, “I wish everybody the best in whatever they want to accomplish, but I’m focused on winning games here and trying to win a championship.”
Embiid also added that he has been moved on and wants to focus on the game as he doesn’t have to answer any more questions on this issue.
