The build u around this record-breaking moment has been so immense that the effects can be felt on Stephen Curry. Everyone has been just rushing him to drop continuous three-pointers and it has affected his game in a sense.
In the Warriors’ last match against the Philadelphia 76ers, the whole rotation was somewhat patterned to give Stephen more leverages on shooting three points but the Philly players were not gonna let it happen. With a strict and attentive defense, they didn’t let Curry surpass the record. Kudos to them for containing one of the most offensively dominating players of this league.
