Sometimes players tend to receive unnecessary backlash and criticism from fans and league commentators. Eventually, rumors are made on undiscussed trade scenarios, disputes, and other things which are not necessarily true. One of the most recent rumors being spread is on Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown.
Jaylen Brown has been an exceptional offensive threat being on the Celtics. He recently dropped a career-high of 50 points and 11 assists against the helpless Orlando Magic. But despite his tremendous efforts, the team has not had too much success coming into this season.
Jayson Tatum opens up on Jaylen Brown trade rumors
Many people have started to believe that Brown will be shifted off to the Philadelphia 76ers due to the possibility of the big Cs going into rebuild mode. Even though letting go of Jaylen Brown is just a rumor with little to no chances of it being true, Jayson Tatum felt the need to open up about the rumors being spread. He said,
“We just had a talk about we both want to be here and we both want to figure it out….This year hasn’t been what we expected, but I think in the long run it will be good for us. We got to figure some things out together. We’ve got each other’s backs and we’re gonna give it all we got.”
Having mentioned what he said in a nutshell, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown seem to have a great relationship as players on the same team. Tatum tried to remind his audience about their success in the bubble after reaching the Eastern Conference finals led by Jaylen and himself. He claims that both of them are determined to have that experience once again but only to end up with a ring wrapped around a finger.

In between his lengthy speech, Tatum had also appreciated Brown’s talent saying,” There’s not many players in the league like JB (Jaylen Brown).” Before his injury, Jaylen entered the list of top five scorers in the league this season but he is still averaging 24.2 points with 6.6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. Brown had 26 points with 15 rebounds and one block against the Indiana Pacers and also scored 22 points with 11 rebounds and 11 assists finishing off with a triple-double against the New York Knicks
Both players were picked third overall by the Boston Celtics just a year apart from each other with Jaylen Brown being acquired first. Both players have barely played half of the average time spent as a player of the league leaving them a good amount of seasons to emerge at the top. Not every team gets lucky within the first few tries but it takes days, months or, even years to be successful.
