This time the event is set to witness some NBA’s greatest players getting their name embedded into the history forever. While everyone is excited for Kobe Bryant’s induction, here is what Kevin Garnett has to say. Kevin Garnett is one of the greatest center player to have embraced the league. He achieved his prime with the Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves. The strong rim protector has some huge memories with the game. Kevin Garnett is receiving a recognition after being underrated for so long. Recently he reasoned out why he chose Legendary Isiah Thomas to present him the award.
Many legendary former players have been named to present the awards. Former 6-time NBA champion Michael Jordan will present the award to Kobe Bryant posthumously. San Antonio Spurs legend David Robinson will honor Tim Duncan while Isiah Thomas will induct Kevin Garnett. The much loved Kobe Bryant will be honored with a small exhibit. While Bryant and Duncan’s case appeared to be obvious, Kevin Garnett reasoned out why he picked Isiah Thomas.

It was very mild chance for making it to the Hall of Fame this time. While at it, the 44-YO exclaimed that it was all his years of hard work. However, he had a special notion for Isiah Thomas presenting him the award. He expressed, “This was my first time going through any of this Hall of Fame stuff. They asked me if I can choose someone to present me or bring me out or whatever. I was like, what do you mean? Well, someone from the fraternity that you obviously value and respect… pay homage to someone that helped me get to a point to make a decision on my future when I was so young, I won’t say naive, but I was full of dreams and hopes.”

“I’d like to think that you helped me… Would you consider possibly introducing me… it’ll be an honour?” he added. The 15-time All-Star is the 4th player to have attained this many number of All-Star games. While spending more than 14 years with Minnesota, Kevin Garnett attained his ultimate prime at the Boston Celtics. With his 21-year career, KG made it so easy for the Celtics. Despite having Ray Allen or Paul Pierce to present him, he went for Isiah Thomas. This reveals the amount of respect, the 44-YO has for the former legend.
