Lakers’ Austin Reaves turns into Klay Thompson after epic fan encounter

Austin Reaves
Apart from Anthony Davis, LeBron James and Malik Monk, young Austin Reaves has topped the charts for purple and gold army after showing signs of what exactly he is capable of. From buzzer-beating game winners, to clutch plays, Reaves has been at the heart of things for Los Angeles Lakers and is surely one of the players who need not panic approaching trade deadline. However, on a recent occasion, when the spoken off hooper was at a signing event, many related him to Klay Thompson.

To those who are not aware, years ago Klay Thompson was also at a signing event, wherein he was asked to sign an electric appliance. Similar was the fate of Austin Reaves, who found it confusing at first, but obliged the Laker Fan with a signature upon his rice bowl. Safe to say, the 23-years-old is not a star, but surely has impressed many with his applaud-worthy performances.

Austin Reaves asked to sign rice cooker
Some years back when Klay Thompson was asked to sign an electrical appliance, the Golden State Warriors went onto win the NBA Championship that sign. This is surely the kind of luck required by the purple and gold army need in order to turn the tables in their favor.
With the likes of Minnesota Timberwolves, LA Clippers, Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz all making their surge upwards in the Western Conference, the Lakers are left to do all, perhaps even throwing the kitchen sink with the aim of catching up with these teams.

Furthermore, they would be hoping for Austin Reaves to be in the same form as he has been so far in the season in order to support LeBron James and Anthony Davis’ scoring prowess, coming off the bench. That being said, the Lakers are scheduled to face Milwaukee Bucks in their next encounter. Will Frank Vogel’s army be able to improve their trajectory after a 22-point comeback against New York Knicks? Remains to be seen.
