Being just 33-years-old, the world of NFL, NBA and perhaps all around have been shocked by the demise of Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas. The player passe away on Thursday and Lons Angeles Lakers marquee scorer LeBron James is the latest sports personality to pay his tribute to the former by sharing a heartfelt message via his Instagram handle.
The 36-years-old veteran shared a picture of Instagram wherein he was representing the Cleveland Cavaliers and can be seen shaking hands with Demaryius Thomas on the sidelines. No doubt that this picture represents two of the greatest and most encouraging sports personalities exchanging pleasantries. LeBron James pays tribute to Demaryius Thomas
“Rest in paradise DT,” wrote the 4xNBA Finals MVP. “Crazy man. 33 Years Young! Prayers sent to the heavens above for his loved ones.” Reports of Demaryius Thomas’ demise were filed on Thursday itself when he suffered a seizure while showering inside his home. LeBron James is reported to have a great interest in NFL as well and even praised Thomas’s potential and prowess on several occasions.
Thomas played 10 seasons in the NFL between 2010 and 2019. He spent most of his career with the Broncos, where he won a Super Bowl title in 2016. The former Georgia Tech standout was a four-time Pro Bowler. Much like LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, many people continue to admire Thomas and all that he had contributed to the sport. However, there is nothing more pleasing to see two greats of the sport acknowledging each other, but with Demaryius passing away way too soon, his fans are surely going to miss him tons.
